The Australian Federal Governments solar credits rebate program is still operating and offers rebates of around $3,000 for a 1.52kW solar power system (based on REC’s price of $32 each). Solar credit rebates are no longer means tested. This means that all small scale retail electricity consumers qualify, including residential properties, rental properties and businesses.

Add these generous rebates to the NSW State Government’s gross feed in tariff program which will pay you for any of the excess solar power your system produces that is not consumed in your building.
